2017 NOBLE Training Conference

Dear Chaplains and Chiefs,
Plans are being made for our 14th Annual G.A.L.E.C. Chaplain’s Training Conference, formally known as G.A.C.P. Chaplains Training. We will offer the basic chaplains training course for any chaplain who has not received the mandate training, and will offer advanced training for those who have already taken the basic course.
I want to remind everyone that P.O.S.T. is no longer certifying chaplains. However, GALEC is certifying the training and it will be up to the chiefs to certify their own chaplains. Your officers are working diligently to provide you with the best and most up to date training possible. I look forward to meeting you personally and enjoying a time of fellowship with you over these days at our conference.
The dates for the training will be August 13-17, 2017 for the Basic Chaplains Training and August 14-17, 2017 for Advance Chaplains Training. This year’s conference location is the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa, GA. Registration begins at 3:00 PM on the 13th or 14th respectfully.
Please review the attached registration form for the costs. The conference cost is due by August 1, 2017. A late fee of $25.00 will be imposed for registration after this date or at the door. Payment can be made by check, money order, or credit card (MC or Visa only). Requests for refunds must be in writing. A $50 penalty fee will be deducted on refunds made after the registration deadline. This fee is necessary to offset expenses associated with our contract obligations and training costs. A registration form without some form of deposit is not registered until a deposit is submitted via check, money order, or credit card.
Chiefs, please encourage your chaplains to register early. It is necessary so that food and housing arrangements can be confirmed with the conference center. If you have questions, please contact me by email at email@example.com or call us at 404.793.2781.

Registration for this seminar is open until August 18th.
Registrations received after August 18th or registrations made on-site will incur a $25.00 late fee.
Participants who register, but who do not attend, will be billed as “no shows.” No refunds given after August 18th.
