Terrorism-Related Officer Safety Strategies Training

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) VALOR and State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT) Programs will be holding a Specialized Workshop in Byron, Georgia on May 31, 2017. Attached is the training announcement with additional information about the workshop. Topics addressed during this workshop will include the following:

* The current officer safety threat presented by terrorists/VCEs
* Recognizing behavioral indicators exhibited by terrorists/VCEs to increase officer safety
* Officer safety preparedness strategies and resources
* Terrorism mitigation strategies and officer resiliency
