The May District 9 meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Lavonia at the Historic Depot. The depot is located at 1269 East Main Street Lavonia, Georgia 30553. A full country breakfast will be served beginning at 9:00 am and training will begin at 10:00 am. Athens Technical College Chief John Gaissert will be presenting “Counter-terrorism in the 21st Century.” He will be discussing the challenge of terror related incidents from a multi-disciplinary perspective including history, tactics, motivation, deterrence and current doctrine. You do not want to miss this training opportunity!
