ATTENTION ALL CURRENT GACP MEMBERS

Did you know you can now register online?  Here is what you need to know to access our online payment gateway:

1) You will need a valid Visa or Mastercard to complete online registration.  Please note, we do not take American Express or Diner's Club and any attempt at this will give you an error.

2) You will need to use your GACP Member ID# to access the payment gateway. Your Member ID# is printed on the 2011 GACP Membership Renewal. The 2011 Membership Renewal was emailed to the email address we have on file in late October. If you did not receive a notice, please email us at gacp(at)gachiefs.com
and an invoice will be resent to you.

**Please Note Instructions on Payments with Checks or Credit Cards**

Your GACP Training Director has been working diligently with the Georgia State Department of Revenue, Director of Audits to get a confirmation on the procedure for the state sales tax exemptions.  Those of you who attended the Winter Training Conference at the Omni remember the issues regarding the state sales tax and the first four numbers on the credit card itself.

State and Local Municipal Governmental Agencies DO NOT pay the state sales tax provided:
1- The state sales tax exemption form is filled out.
2- A governmental check is made out to the hotel.
3- A governmental credit card, with the agency's name is used - No special numbering system.

It is very important to note that checks or credit cards used without the agency information listed will be required to pay state sales tax.

The Department of Revenue has indicated that they will put together a flyer explaining the process.  We will certainly get that information to you when we receive it.
