G.A.L.E.C. Chaplains Training Conference

Dear Chaplains and Chiefs,

Plans are being made for our 8th Annual G.A.L.E.C. Chaplain’s Training Conference, formally known as G.A.C.P. Chaplains Training. We will offer the basic chaplains training course for any chaplain who has not received the mandate training, and we will offer advanced training for certified chaplains.

The dates for the training will be August 14th – 18th for the Basic Chaplains Training attendees and August 15th – 18th for Advance Chaplains Training. This year’s conference location is the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa, GA. Registration begins at 3:00 PM on the 14th or 15th respectfully.

Please review the registration form for the costs. The conference cost is due by August 1. A late fee of $25.00 will be imposed for registration after this date or at the door. Payment can be made by check, money order, or credit card (MC or Visa only). Requests for refunds must be in writing. A $50 penalty fee will be deducted on refunds made after the registration deadline. This fee is necessary to offset expenses associated with our contract obligations and training costs. A registration form without some form of deposit is not registered until a deposit is submitted via check, money order, or credit card.

Chiefs, please encourage your chaplains to register early. It is necessary so that food and housing arrangements can be confirmed with the conference center.
