Chief Executive Training Class

INFORMATION FOR NEW CHIEFS

If you are a new Police Chief or Head of a Law Enforcement Agency, congratulations on your recent appointment. In order to become an active member in the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police you need to complete the following:

Notify the Georgia POST Council of your departments change of status by using the POST C-11 form which is located here
Attend the GACP Chief Executive Training Program to accumulate the mandated training hours required of you as a new agency head. If you are a New Chief or Head of a Law Enforcement Agency, please review Code Section Code Section 35-8-20.1(a) for information on this class and your mandate regarding executive/management level training.
