Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Grant Program

The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (Council) in partnership with the United States Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Georgia is pleased to announce that we are seeking applications for funding under the Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Grant Program.  This program furthers the State of Georgia’s strategic goals and indicators to prevent or reduce crime and violence.

 

Eligible lead applicants are limited to units of local government and private, non-profit community organizations located in the following counties: Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton and Gwinnett, with a required partnership from state and local juvenile justice and community agencies, such as law enforcement, prosecutors, judicial agencies, family and youth services, schools, community-based organizations serving youth and adolescents, faith-based organizations, neighborhood planning units or other agencies serving high-risk youth and adults as appropriate.

 

The 2010 Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Neighborhood Violence Prevention Initiative Letter of Intent was sent to you because the mission, goal, objective or vision of your individualorganizations are committed to ensuring that the safety and security of our citizens remain the number one priority. This is an open solicitation so please feel free to pass this along to other eligible entities who may be interested.
