Outstanding Chief of the Year Award

Nominations for this very prestigious award may be made by anyone wishing to nominate a Chief/Head of a Law Enforcement Agency/Department that is a member in good standing of GACP. The Executive Director will accept nominations throughout the year, but all nominations must be received by the Executive Director no later than June 1 of each year. Nominations received after June 1 will be considered for the following year’s award.To nominate a Chief, please complete an application along with a letter stating your nomination and how the nominee fulfills the following criteria. The criteria for this award is simple; but, all parts must be noted on the received paperwork. Please feel free to attach any correspondence of recognition.

1-The member's service to the Association

2-The member's service to the community

3-The member's accomplishments as a law enforcement administrator
